Record incoming and outgoing shipments.
Differentiate codes, part numbers and items.
Interpret parts terminology.
Pull parts to be delivered.
Pack to prevent damage.
Plan deliveries for greatest efficiency.
Maintain trip tickets, invoices, etc.
Apply appropriate U.P.S., postage and other rates.
Adhere to appropriate carrier's regulations.
Return broken parts to shop to identify corrected delivery part.
Track and fill back orders and maintain good back order records.
Maintain good warehouse records.
Organize and stock shelves, and adjust space for items.
Maintain established inventory level.
Interpret catalogs and pricing books.
Use paper, microfiche and electronic catalogs.
Communicate which tools are required to install parts.
Apply computer competencies used in a Parts Department.
Access and update computerized inventory control systems.
Identify source of supply, considering supplier's past performance.
Identify receivables and past due accounts.
