II. JOB DUTIES WHICH AN INDIVIDUAL SHOULD HAVE
PERFORMED IF THEY ARE TO FUNCTION AS AN INSTRUCTOR.
Nursing assessment of geriatric client that includes assessing physical, emotional, and social status and needs.
Handle and prevent geriatric resident-related emergencies.
Perform and teach activities of daily living (ADL's) to geriatric clients.
Develop and implement individual geriatric nursing care plans that includes goals and priorities derived from the nursing diagnosis.
Assist geriatric residents to adjust to loss of physical abilities and ADL's.
Administer medication to geriatric clients.
Directly administer geriatric nursing care or direct, manage, supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs and unlicensed patient care givers in giving resident care.
Evaluate geriatric nursing care.
