APPROPRIATE CREDITS FOR CERTIFICATION
INSTRUCTIONAL AREA (809) SOCIAL SCIENCE
In order to become certified at the provisional level to teach any course numbered within instructional area (809) Social Science, the individual must:
Individuals satisfying the requirement necessary for a five-year certificate must:
Courses from other departments will be considered only if
accompanied by a written statement from the recognized social science
discipline
department chair of an accredited university that the course or a portion of the
course is equivalent to a course counting towards a minor or major in the
respective social science discipline.
