Supervisory Experience in Educational Systems

GUIDELINE DEFINITION
Supervisory experience in the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) and other educational systems will be viewed as appropriate occupational experience for certification in instructional area 196 (Supervision and Leadership Development) programs. The supervisory experience must involve the actual supervision of staff.

EXAMPLE
None

RATIONALE
The role of the supervisor in an educational institution involves many of the same supervisory and management functions as supervisors in either the private or public sector.
