FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR

Certified/sanctioned courses:

Current certification as an instructor by the organization providing formal certification of successful course graduates (i.e., American Red Cross, Bureau of Mines, Medic First Aid, etc.).

If CPR is to be a part of the course, Current recognition as a Basic Life Support Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. (NOTE: Recognition by the American Heart Association is preferred. Recognition as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor is not an accepted substitute for BLS Instructor status.)

Non-certified/non-sanctioned courses:

Current certification as a First Responder or Emergency Medical Technician.
